Rose Lupinacci, MSW, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field.  Much of my work has been with adolescents and young adults, as well as their parents and families.  Most recently I have worked in educational settings focusing on mental health. My previous role as an Assistant Principal at a large comprehensive high school gave me the chance to work on a bigger scale and create change on a systemic level.

I am thrilled to be getting back to my clinical roots and working with individuals again. I have particular expertise and experience in navigating school systems and educational challenges.  I also have experience in helping people who are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, grief, loss, trauma, LGBTQ+ supports, medical social work, and general issues related to being human.

I enjoy working with motivated clients who are ready to make changes and looking for someone to walk beside them on their journey.  Throughout my career I have focused on creating relationships with my clients that promote safety to help them uncover their best selves and understand their full potential.   Feeling seen, heard, respected and possibly challenged, is my goal for you in our time together.

I provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for us to build our relationship and work collaboratively.  I use empathy, humor, optimism and compassion as key elements of my practice.  I utilize a Person-Centered counseling approach that I combine with elements of CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Systems Theory.

I know that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming and I believe that the relationship between the therapist and client is the most impactful element of therapy.  I am happy to meet with you for a first session to help us both determine if we will work well together.

Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns- I am happy to help. Email Rose.
